Kottigehara: A candidate for the Naduvale gram panchayat has attracted attention by canvassing for votes barefoot and alone.
The candidate Naveen Havali has reportedly taken a vow that he will not wear any footwear until the gram panchayat election is over.
He has also chosen footwear as his election symbol.
Naveen canvasses for votes alone without any supporters. He receives a handful of rice from the houses he visits which he later cooks and eats.
