Chikkamagaluru: Woman, son killed in car-bus collision, another serious

Chikkamagaluru: A woman and her son were killed following a head-on collision between a government bus and a car here on Saturday, August 12 near Mudremane in Mudigere taluk.

The deceased are identified as Pooja Hiremath and Rajasekhar Hiremath, residents of Bengaluru. The other car occupant Shivagayya Hiremath sustained critical injuries and has been shifted to Mudigere Government Hospital.

It is gathered that the car was traveling from Dharmasthala to Mudigere to Bengaluru and the government bus was coming from Sakleshpur to Mudigere.
