Chikkamagaluru: Young tourist dies of heart attack during trekking expedition

Chikkamagaluru: In a devastating turn of events, a young tourist lost his life to a sudden cardiac arrest while on a trek in Chikkamagaluru.

The deceased has been identified as Rakshit, a 27-year-old from Mysuru, who was part of a group of seven youths visiting the region for an adventurous trekking expedition.

It is learnt that the incident occurred during the group’s ascent towards the picturesque Kudremukh-Netravathi peak spot.

The dead body was brought to Kalasa by the police from the Netravathi peak spot.

The spot of the death is said to fall under Belthangady police limits.
