Chikmagalur: Minister CT Ravi visits flood-affected areas

Chikmagalur: State tourism minister CT Ravi visited flood-affected areas in the district on Tuesday, August 11.
He visited Jaladurga and Gingergadde villages of Koppa taluk which have been damaged due to heavy rains.
He then visited the landslide area in the National Highway and, a ginger plantation farm which is affected by landslides.
He also visited the house of a person who lost his life in Bhadra backwaters in Anduwane village and gave a cheque of Rs 5 lakh to Shankar’s wife Mamata.
