Chikmagalur: Over 23 wild elephants destroy coffee plantation in Mudigere

Chikmagalur: Over 23 wild elephants destroyed a coffee plantation in Mudugare taluk of the district.
The elephants have been destroying the coffee plantation, areca nut trees, chilly plants since Friday, October 16 morning, informed sources.
When the crops were ready for the harvest, the elephants had damaged them totally. It is gathered that the elephants may have entered the village in search of food and water.
