Children’s play equipment, outdoor gym inaugurated at Kadri Park

Mangaluru: the outdoor gymnasium, children’s play equipment and several other development works at Kadri Park here were inaugurated by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel on Friday, March 1^st.

The outdoor gym, walking track, and children play equipment development work at the park was done under the Amruth Scheme of the central government, state government and MCC at a total cost of Rs 1.16 crore.

MP Nalin spoke on the occasion and said, “Today, we have inaugurated several development works, and children’s play equipment at Kadri Park. This was a long pending demand as the equipment for the children at Kadri Park which were in a pathetic condition. It was necessary to scrap them and install new equipment along with an outdoor gym which will be useful for daily visitors to the park.”
