Kalaburagi: Chincholi MLA and Parliamentary Secretary Health and Family welfare office Dr Umesh Jadhav was injured in an accident that happened on Wednesday morning at around 11.30 am near Polakapalli in Chincholi taluk .

Jadhav and his party workers were en route to Kothlapur town, near Telangana outskirt, in the taluk. Jadhav was going in a Bolero while Congress ST unit president Janardhan Yampalli was following Jadhav’s vehicle in another Xylo.

The Xylo driver attempted to surpass the Bolero near Polakapalli. But a  bull came before the vehicle out of the blue and the Xylo driver subsequent to hitting the bull, rammed into the Bolero in which Jadhav was travelling.

The Xylo toppled. The Bolero driver promptly braked to evade further damage. In any case, Jadhav who was sitting in the front seat, hit the windscreen shattering it. He was extremely harmed in head, hand and waist and furthermore endured internal injuries.

It can be reviewed that Jadhav was seriously injured in a rail accident two decades ago. Yampalli, who was in the Xylo, was seriously injured in legs and head.

They were immediately taken to the Chincholi government hospital and later moved to Tipu Sultan hospital in Kalaburagi.

CPI Chincholi H M Ingaleshwar went by the spot. A case has been registered by Chincholi police headquarters.
