Chitradurga: 3 children among 4 killed in road mishap

Chitradurga: Four individuals, including three children, were killed in the accident that took place near Sanikere village in Challakere taluk. Three others were severely injured.

The deceased have been identified as Lingappa (26 years), Sindhu Sri (2 years), Ayyalappa (5 months), and Raksha (3 months).

The injured individuals are Yallamma (30), Mallamma (20), and Nagappa (35). They were rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

All the deceased and injured belong to the same family and are residents of Dandammanahalli in Devadurga taluk of Raichur district. The accident took place when they were traveling from Devadurga to Bengaluru, and the incident is reported to have occurred in the early hours of the morning.

Police Sub-Inspector Shivraj inspected the accident site and a case has been registered with this regard.
