Chitradurga: Death toll in Dec 27 bus-cruiser collision rises to 8

Chitradurga: Three people, who were hospitalised after being seriously injured in the collision between a cruiser and a bus that occurred at BG Kere village near here on Sunday died on December 28 raising the death toll from the accident to 8.
Five people travelling in the cruiser had died on the spot and 17 others were admitted to various hospitals on December 27.
3 of those admitted at Davanagere’s SS Hospital died on Monday after failing to respond to the treatment.
The deceased have been recognised as Nagamma (42) her son Jyothi Basava (20) and Buddappa (40) all residents of Devadurga.
