Chitradurga: Food safety officer caught taking Rs 8,000 bribe

Chitradurga: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday arrested a food safety officer while accepting a bribe of Rs 8,000, an official said.
The accused identified as Tulsi Ranganath had allegedly demanded bribe from Manjunath, the owner of ‘Nam bakery’, for license renewal.
The ACB officials caught Tulsi red-handed while accepting the bribe of Rs 8,000 from the bakery owner.
The operation was led by ACB SI Praveen.
