Chopped remains of an unidentified woman case: Woman identified

Mangaluru: The police have successfully identified the woman whose mortal remains were found chopped in a gunny bag, dumped on the rear side on Kadri Park along the highway between KPT and Nanthoor.
The deceased woman has been identified as Shreemathi Shetty, resident of Amar Alva road and is assumed to be around 35 to 40 years old. She is a divorcee and her husband is in judicial custody in a theft case of South police station.
According to sources for the police, prima facie suggest a personal reason behind the murder. Three police teams have been formed for the detailed investigation into the case, inform the police.
