Chopped remains of an unidentified woman found in gunny bag near Kadri Park

Mangaluru: An unidentified body of a woman was found in a gunny bag alongside a petty shop near Kadri Park by the police on Sunday May 12. The woman is suspected to have been murdered.

The mortal remains of the victim which reportedly has been chopped into pieces and stuffed into a gunny bag was first found by the petty shop owner who had come in the morning to open his shop. He immediately informed his find to the police who rushed to the stop and conducted investigation.

The head of the body was found inside a helmet separately while other parts of the body were found in the gunny bag.

The footage of the CCTV cameras at a petrol bunk located in the vicinity has revealed some details including a man arriving in the night by a Honda Activa scooter and disposing the gunny bag inside the shop.

The mortal remains have been sent for autopsy.
