Bengaluru: Crime Investigation Department (CID) officials have questioned Santhosh, Personal Assistant (PA) to Karnataka State BJP President BS Yeddyurappa on Thursday in the state capital inconnection with former Karnataka Minister HY Meti’s sex tape case. Earlier, CID asked Santhosh to appear for an interrogation following his association with RTI activist Rajashekhar Mulali who released HY Meti’s sex tape last year which forced HY Meti to resign as state cabinet minister.

Earlier, CID gave clean chit to former minister HY Meti and described sex tape as a result of political conspiracy made by his rivals. However, the investigation team had failed to confirm the sex tape as fake under technical grounds as the sex tape released has allegedly contains the visuals of HY Meti having sexual union with a lady.

Following its inability to technically prove the tape as fake, CID officials questioned Santhosh on his association with Rajashekhar Mulali. A CID team is still investigating HY Meti’s sex tape case as he alleged the sex tape is a political conspiracy made against him by his rivals.
