Civic worker dies of electrocution while removing flex boards in Tumkuru

Tumkuru: A 29-year-old youth died of electrocution while removing a flex board attached to an electric pole in Tumkuru here on Thursday morning.
The deceased identified as Narasimha Murthy was a civic worker and had been entrusted with the task of removing flex boards, banners placed around the townhall area on occasion of Dasara festivities.
Murthy is said to have sustained an electric shock while removing the banner and fell to the ground.
City Corporation Mayor, Lalita Ravish and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rakesh Kumar visited the aggrieved family.
