Civic workers protest: Govt issues assurance letter, protests end

Bengaluru: Protests carried out by the civic workers on day four, demanding regularization of service and other locals demands came to an end, here on Monday.
The protestors who had gathered in the Freedom Park had demanded the state government to give them a written assurance that their demands will be fulfilled. As the state government issued a written assurance letter, the civic workers ended their protests.
Representing the government, the chairman of the State Safai Karmachari Association M Shivanna reached the protest venue and handed over the assurance letter to the civic workers.
It can be noted that the civic protesters were protesting for the past three days across the state.
