Bengaluru: Clashes occurred between supporters of Karnataka BJP senior leader KS Eshwarappa and Karnataka state BJP president BS Yeddyurappa (BSY) in a dissatisfied BJP leaders conference being held in the state capital on Thursday. The conference is being organised with the slogan ‘Save Organisation (Save BJP)’ at the palace ground showing their dissatisfaction against BS Yeddyurappa for allegedly behaving like a dictator within the party circles.
The incident occurred when BJP MLC Bhanuprakash started criticizing BSY in his speech in the conference. Following the criticism, a BSY supporter present in the conference warned the MLC for his comment and said he was not eligible to blame the state party president. BSY supporter’s warning created tension in the spot and finally KS Eshwarappa supporters forced BSY supporter to leave the area.
