Kadaba: A class nine student of a private educational institution in Nelyadi died in a bike accident on Mangaluru-Bengaluru National Highway-75 in Kadaba here on Thursday morning.
The deceased identified as Kiran, 15, was riding pillion on the bike when the mishap took place.
A critically injured Kiran was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was given preliminary treatment. He, however, succumbed to his injuries while he was being shifted to a Mangaluru for further treatment
Puttur Traffic police registered a case.
