Classes 6-9 in Bengaluru schools suspended, states official order from Edu Dept

Bengaluru: The Education Department in an official order has instructed suspension of classes for students from classes 6-9 in schools here in wake of increasing COVID-19 cases.
The order states that this is being done considering the well being of students.
Vidyagama schemes being run in Bengaluru schools have also been suspended.
The sessions for class 10 students will be held as usual and students can attend classes online, the order further read.
The department’s order also instructs other districts of the State to conduct school and curricular activities in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines.
