Classes for 1st PUC and 9th standard may reopen from Jan 15: Suresh Kumar

Bengaluru: Primary and Secondary Education Minister, S Suresh Kumar, said that classes for 1st PUC and 9th standard students may begin from January 15.

Speaking to the reporters, he said, ” We will soon take a decision regarding the re-opening of classes for 1st PUC and 9th standard students based on expert suggestion. Re-opening of schools is our duty and our responsibility”

“Vidyagama will be conducted as per High Court’s directions.  Also, PUC and SSLC students can use last year’s bus pass to travel. We have discussed with private school organizations regarding school fees and KAMS has decided on a minimal fee structure,” he added

He further said, ” No need to worry about syllabus. Only four classes will be conducted per day. We will soon publish a temporary timetable for PUC and SSLC”
