Bengaluru: DK Shivkumar has received a clean chit in three cases lodged against him by the income tax department.

According to sources, unaccounted property worth Rs 300 crore was unearthed by IT sleuths, who had cracked down on 50 places including DKS’s residence and offices in Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai on Aug 1st 2017. A case in this regard was lodged with a special Court.

However, DKS also moved to the Court claiming that the case against him must be dropped since the officials who lodged the complaint against him had no right to do so. He also claimed that the allegations against him were baseless.

Thought the case in connection to Hawala transaction still stands against the minister, the Court has given him clean chit in the three IT cases.
