Cloud Seeding Successfully Executed in Ramanagar, Maddur Region

Maddur: Cloud seeding carried out at Maddur, Ramanagar, Kanakpura region on Wednesday as part of two month long cloud seeding project in Karnataka. A small plane returned to Jakkur aerodrome from Maddur region after completing its work today, Wednesday. The aeroplane successfully completed its cloud seeding work even if adverse weather conditions prevented the plane from cloud seeding on Monday, the first day of the project.
Karnataka state government initiated 2 month long cloud seeding project in an attempt get good rainfall amid prevailing drought condition in the state. The project is being executed at a cost of Rs 300 crore by a US based private company.
