Bengaluru: Basavaraj Bommai held his first Cabinet meet and news conference since his appointment as the new Chief Minister of the State.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting in the Assembly, he said, “I have instructed the officials that the State’s administration must be efficient and honest. Our government is there for every society.”

“Our government should go to the micro level and not be macro. There should be no delay in any works and I will be a team member in all of it,” he added.
