CM Bommai visits Bellare; meets slain BJP worker Praveen Nettar’s family

Sullia: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday visited Bellare and met youth BJP leader Praveen Nettar’s family.
CM Bommai assured the family that the culprits will soon be arrested.
Meanwhile, Praveen’s wife said, “We want justice to be served at the earliest. We demand encounters of culprits who killed my husband”.
Later, a cheque of Rs. 25 lakhs was handed over to the family.
The security was beefed up in the surroundings of Praveen’s residence.
BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel, BJP National General Secretary C T Ravi, State Home Minister Araga Jnanendra, District In-charge Minister Sunil Kumar, and others were present.
It can be recalled that CM Bommai had cancelled several events organised to mark the one-year anniversary of his government on Thursday.
Praveen Nettaru, a BJP Yuva Morcha was murdered on Tuesday.
