Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa announced that three new COVID Care Centres will be set up in Bengaluru and the districts of Bengaluru, Bidar and Kalburagi will be monitored as more number of cases are being reported from these districts.
“The prime minister had called a meeting of all chief ministers today amid rising COVID-19 cases in the country. Masks have been made mandatory in the State. Micro-containment zones will be set up to deal with all new cases,” Yediyurappa said after the meeting.
“The “3T mantra” (Test. Track. Treat) must be followed. The number of infections in the State has increased in the last 10 days. More precautions will be taken in border districts,” he said.
