CM BSY calls on all district admins to be well prepared for floods

Bengaluru: In a video conference held with Deputy Commissioners of the flood-affected districts in the State, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa instructed them to evacuate villagers of the flood-affected villages as soon as possible.

He also urged the evacuation of villages that are prone to flooding adding that he has already instructed NDRF and SDRF teams to urgently reach the needy districts.

Yediyurappa also instructed the officials to open more care centres and asked them to cancel all leaves of officials.

He added that they should submit a proposal if financial aid is needed.
