CM BSY convenes emergency Cabinet meet

Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has called an emergency Cabinet meeting on May 4 at 4 pm.

The deaths due to lack of oxygen in Chamarajanagar, rise in COVID-19 cases in the State, lockdown and many more issues are expected to be discussed at the meeting.

24 patients died in the Chamarajanagar district’s COVID-19 hospital on Sunday night due to the shortage of oxygen.

Soon after learning of the incident, Yediyurappa instructed Minister Dr Sudhakar to go to Chamarajanagar and monitor the situation.
