CM BSY to hold meeting on Unlock 3.0 on Sat; further relaxation possible

Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa will preside over a meeting to be held on Saturday evening with Cabinet ministers and officials regarding further relaxation of the lockdown in the State

The lockdown relaxation period is likely to be extended till 8 pm and permission might be granted to public gatherings, including weddings, with limited attendance, sources said.

Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike (BBMP) has requested the government for reopening all commercial establishments in the capital with a 50 per cent capacity rule. The government could approve it.

The night curfews and weekend curfews could continue along with the non-opening of temples and other places of worship sources said.

The second phase of unlocking in the State is set to end on the morning of July 5.
