CM BSY to travel to Delhi on July 16; Cabinet reshuffle on agenda?

Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa will be travelling to New Delhi to meet the national leadership of the BJP on Friday.

As per reports, a State Cabinet rejig on the lines of the recent Union Cabinet one could be part of his discussions.

Karnataka’s Cabinet presently has one ministerial post vacant while other ministers could see their berths given to others, the reports added.

Speaking to reporters, Yediyurappa said that he is going to the national capital to meet and discuss issues such as the Mekedatu project and other developmental works and the Cabinet changes are not part of his discussion plans adding that it might be brought up during the discussions.

The chief minister’s son BY Vijayendra will also be accompanying him.
