CM BSY’s aide NR Santosh attempts suicide

Bengaluru: The political secretary to Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, NR Santosh, attempted suicide on Friday, November 27.
It was reported that he attempted to take his life by consuming sleeping pills.
Santosh was found in an unconscious state and was rushed to the city’s MS Ramaiah Hospital where he is undergoing treatment in the emergency ward.
Yediyurappa visited the hospital and inquired about Santosh’s condition.
Speaking later the chief minister said physicians are treating him, we do not know the reason for his suicide attempt. Will be speaking with his family soon.
Santosh was appointed as Yediyurappa’s political secretary on May 28 this year.
Santosh’s family members allege that he took this drastic step due to tremendous political pressure.
Speaking to reporters, Santosh’s wife Jahnavi said that was upset since early in the morning and in the evening when he came home he fell unconscious.
