CM directs party workers to abide by HC rule to remove illegal banners

Bengaluru: After the High Court order to remove all illegal flex banners, CM HD Kumaraswamy, on Sunday asked the BBMP to implement the High Court diligently.
The Chief Minister directed all political party representatives and party workers to co-operate with this and implement the policy in keeping the city clean.
The CM stated that strict action will be taken against officials who do not abide by the rules.
CM HD Kumaraswamy had tweeted, ” I have instructed the BBMP to execute the High Court order on removing all illegal hoardings and flex banners from the city immediately and to ensure that the order remained enforced.”
In another tweet, the CM said “I request all party leaders, party workers, political parties and other organizations to co-operate with the BBMP and the government in keeping Bengaluru free from flex banners and illegal hoardings. Let us all get together to keep our city clean and beautiful.”
