Bengaluru: Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has directed the state police to take strict action against groups or people who indulge into anti-social activists and create communal tension in the society in the name of religion.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion of Police Commemoration Day at KSRP Grounds in Koramangala.
“Police should not spare such elements at any cost. Police will receive fully support from the government,” CM said.
Kumaraswamy said that some people are trying to create communal disharmony in the society in the name of religion. The police should not spare such elements and should initiate stringent action against them.
Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister G Parameshwar, DG & IGP Neelmani N Raju, and other senior police officers were present in the event.
