Ramanagara: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has hinted at another increase in the price of Nandini milk.

Speaking at the inauguration of various development projects in Magadi on Friday, the CM announced that the milk prices will be raised soon, and the additional revenue would directly benefit farmers.

“We are on the side of milk producers and farmers. The increased price will go to them. We will soon hold discussions with KMF (Karnataka Milk Federation) and other officials to take a decision on this,” Siddaramaiah said during the event.

Addressing opposition from the BJP and other opposition parties, CM Siddaramaiah stated, “I am aware of the struggles that farmers are facing. If we raise the milk prices, the BJP opposes it. The current price farmers are getting is insufficient. Do farmers deserve more money or not? It’s not difficult for me to give them an additional Rs 5. Even if we increase it by Rs 3, the BJP will object. I urge you to tell the BJP what is right,” he told farmers.
