CM Kumaraswamy meets Rahul Gandhi to discuss new budget and farmer loan

New Delhi/Bengaluru: In the midst of conflicts among Congress pioneers and the JD(S), Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Monday June 18 met AICC president Rahul Gandhi and examined about presenting full fledged budget plan and other issues identified with the state.
In a close door meeting at Rahul Gandhi’s Tuglak Lane home in New Delhi, Kumaraswamy additionally examined issues like decision on farmer loan waiver.
Not long after the meeting , Kumaraswamy addressed media people and elucidated that it was just courtesy meeting and that they talked about a few state issues in the meeting.
“I have likewise looked for full collaboration from the Congress to run the coalition government easily. Rahul Gandhi guaranteed full help. I likewise approached him for his thoughts on the development of the state and he shared his perspectives,” the CM said.
Amid the meeting, the Congress president and the Karnataka CM have apparently examined about controlling dissidence in the Congress party by filling a couple of opportunities through cabinet expansion. With respect to vacancies in the Congress, he stated, “It is up to the Congress to take a choice. They will examine with their legislators and take reasonable decision to take care of the little issues in their organisation.”
The four vacancies out of six will be filled in two weeks, say sources from the Congress.
Prior, former chief minister Siddaramaiah and different Congress leaders amid their first co-ordination meeting had opined that decision on farmer loan waiver must be taken seeing the financial position of the state. They had additionally supported showing a supplementary budget instead of full-pledged one.
