CM Kumaraswamy warns Excise Commissioner Munish Moudgil

Bengaluru: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy cautioned Excise Commissioner Munish Moudgil of suspension who purportedly disregarded his order to transfer the excise inspectors, who were transferred just before the election.
Addressing media people in his official home Krishna, here on Friday, Kumaraswamy said that the government officers ought to also have humanity alongside position and sincerity. Each officer must soak up these qualities, he said.
“On the scenery of the Assembly elections numerous authorities, staffs were transferred to faraway places, even 600 to 700 km away. The women officials of the excise department asked for me to withdraw the transfer. In this way, a direction was given to Commissioner Munish Moudgil to re-transfer them. However, I came to know that he said that it is impossible whoever tells it. Thus, I gave another direction to him. He would verify the documents by Monday. I will take further action if he denies it,” the CM cautioned.
