CM praises efforts of Udupi’s Bulbul Sindhuri in fighting COVID-19

Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa praised a student from Kallianpur in Udupi for joining the fight against COVID-19

BS Yediyurappa took to Twitter and wrote, “Proud of this young COVID warrior Sindhuri. Her smile as she stitches that mask inspires all of us to go beyond our limitations and strengthens us to fight this battle together. God bless you!”

Sindhuri, daughter of Sudhir and Renuka is currently studying in the 6th standard in Mount Rosery school and Bulbul in Scouts and Guides as well.

She took up the task of stitching the masks after the teachers of Mount rosery school informed their students to prepare masks for SSLC students who will be attending exams this month. She has stitched 15 masks by using only her right hand as her left hand did not function since her birth.

People have been appreciating her after a video of her stitching went viral on social media.
