CM Siddaramaiah denies charges of summoning VVIP treatment to Sasikala

Bengaluru: CM Siddaramaiah, who was been accused of providing special favours to V K Sasikala denied charges.

He cleared out allegations and said that he had not asked the prison authorities to provide any “VVIP” treatment to V K Sasikala.

Addressing the media persons, CM Siddaramaiah said that “A delegation from Tamil Nadu met me and said that Sasikala has not been provided with a mat and pillow. So I told him (Rao) to provide her with facilities as per prison rules. I have not asked (the officer) to extend VVIP treatment to her. I told Police (Prisons) H N Sathyanarayana Rao to merely follow prison rules.”

Rao had earlier said that Sasikala was provided VIP treatments after it was summoned by Siddaramaiah.
