CM Siddaramaiah invited for ‘Paryaya’ celebrations

Belagavi: The Paryaya Swagata Samiti on Tuesday extended invitations to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister Dr. K. Shivakumar for the upcoming ‘Paryaya’ celebrations.
Sri Sugunendra Thirtha Sripada, who heads the Sri Puthige Matha -one of the Ashta Maths of Udupi, is set to assume the Sarvajna Peetha for the fourth time during the biennial ‘Paryaya’ to be held on January 18, 2024.
Apart from the CM and DyCM, invitations have been extended to Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara, Assembly Speaker UT Khadar, Ministers Laxmi Hebbalkar, Byrathi Suresh, Shivraj Tangadi, HK Patil, Legislative Council member BK Hariprasad, and others.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah appreciated the global peace efforts by Sri Sugunendra Teertha Swamiji through the Vishwa Shanti Samiti.
He suggested conducting the Udupi Paryaya festivity like the Nada Habba and assured support from the government.
The delegation led by K Raghupathi Bhat, the convenor of the Paryaya Swagata Samiti included legislators Gurme Suresh Shetty, Yashpal Suvarna, Gururaj Gantihole, V Sunil Kumar, Kiran Kumar Kodgi, and others.
