CM to hold MPs meet today regarding Cauvery verdict

Bengaluru: a meeting of state MP’s was convened by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in New Delhi on Friday to discuss the Supreme Court’s verdict on Cauvery water sharing issue.
The meeting will discuss on the matters like the proceedings of actions on filing the petition in the Supreme Court asking for a modification in verdict and Tamil Nadu’s insistence in constituting the Cauvery Management board.
Last month the Supreme Court decided to reduce the neighbouring state Tamil Nadu’d allocation of Cauvery water from Karnataka to 177.25 tmcft from 192 tmfct.
