Vijayapura: BJP MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal has once again predicted that the State’s chief minister will change in the forthcoming new year after Yugadi and the next chief minister will be from northern Karnataka.

Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, he said that a new chief minister for the State after Yugadi festival is confirmed and that he never asked for a ministerial position in Davanagere and will never leave the BJP. Adding that the next Cabinet will have their people.

“Bengaluru is once again becoming a riot-generating hotspot this can be witnessed by the stone-throwing incident on the Ram Mandir construction fundraising vehicle. The government is failing to control communal riots in the State. The chief minister and home minister have friendly relations with the communal rioters. The situation in the State is not right and opposition parties are all dead,” he said.
