Mysuru: Political parties in the state are not leaving any opportunity to get support. Star campaigners from various parts of the nation are occupied with campaigning in spite of the scorching summer heat to get support for the candidates in the shred.
Chamundeshwari Constituency in Mysuru saw a lady looking for votes in favor of her father in-law on May 2. She is none other than Smitha, wife of Rakesh Siddaramaiah, late son of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah who passed away two years back. Smitha, went by mingling with the voters in Giridarshini Layout asking for them to help Siddaramaiah. She is the first woman from CM’s family who has made appearance in broad daylight till date.
Smitha’s campaigning may reinforce CM’s odds in Chamundeshwari Constituency where the most awaited competition is on the cards.
