Coalition dharma not followed by few Cong leaders in Mandya: Nikhil

Mandya: Chief minister HD Kumaraswamy’s son Nikhil Kumaraswamy, who was pitted agsinst BJP-backed Independent candidate Sumalatha has predicted an easy win for himself in the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency which recorded a massive voter turnout of 80.24% in the elections held on Thursday.

Speaking to reporters here, Nikhil expressed anguish over the fact that leaders of the alliance party did not follow the coalition dharma and support his candidature. He further added that irrespective of the election results he will remain in Mandya.

It maybe recalled that few Congress leaders extended their support to Sumalatha’s campaign.
