Coastal areas of Ker, K’taka on high alert after intelligence of terrorists landing from SL

Mangaluru: Districts of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada in Karnataka and other coastal areas in Kerala have been put on high alert after intelligence inputs of terrorists landing near Alappuzha.
As per reports, the terrorists have sneaked in on mechanised boats from Sri Lanka and are on their way to Pakistan.
The report adds that at least 12 people have landed on Indian shores.
Coast Guard and coastal police units across both States have also been put on high alert.
Additionally, fishermen out in the sea have also been conveyed to report any suspicious activities to authorities immediately.
