Coffee pumps up your mornings unlike anything else. The beverage is an experience in itself, the smell, heat, the flavor. When it comes to daily consumption, coffee has been said to be not so good.

Unlike popular opinion, coffee comes with a whole host of health benefits.

Coffee helps improve your mood, is a good source of antioxidants, and could lower the risk of type 2 diabetes.

Studies state that coffee reduces the risk of Alzheimer’s.

While most experts don’t recommend drinking coffee specifically for weight loss but if they are already a caffeine drinker, coffee could help you reach fitness goals.

Coffee revs up metabolism as it can give you more stamina for exercise. The true way to reap the health benefits of coffee is to drink it black.

It is when you add milk and sugar to the coffee, you are contradicting the health benefits.

With more additives and sugary components, you add inflammatory substances to coffee, which is naturally antioxidant-rich and anti-inflammatory.

Milk and sugar add calories that detract from weight loss goals.

Black coffee is not the most appealing taste to everyone, but trying to encourage healthier eating habits is quite a challenge.
