Commuter train to connect Yesvantpur railway station with KIA

Bengaluru: A commuter train which will be operated from Yesvantpur to the Kempegowda International Airport in Devanahalli will be ready in the next nine months.

The commuter trains will be operated from Yesvantpur to the Airport. The railway station will come up in the airport lounge from where passengers can reach the terminals in dedicated buses operated by the KIAL. The trains from Yesvantpur will take less than 25 minutes to reach the KIAL, informed sources.

It is gathered that, these trains will have a stop at Yelhanka railway station also. Only a single stop will be provided to these commuter trains. They will be very helpful for the KIAL employees and others.
