Chincoli: A complaint was filed against Congress leaders Priyank Kharge and his father Mallikarjun Kharge to the Election Commission for allegedly using police pilot vehicles for campaigning and transporting cash by Chincoli by-election BJP candidate Avinash Jadhav ad MLA P Rajeev.

Addressing the media, MLA P Rajeev said the State Social Welfare and district in-charge minister Priyank Kharge and his father Mallikarjun Kharge were using police pilot vehicles for the by-election campaigning even after the model code of conduct was in force.

Rajeev in his complaint urged EC to take appropriate action to curb the violation of the model code of conduct and take appropriate action against those officers who had participated campaigning in the pilot vehicles.

They insisted the EC to take strict action and carry out the election in a transparent manner
