Complaint filed against Yuvraj Singh over remarks on Chahal

New Delhi: The police have registered a complaint against former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh in Hansi police station, Haryana for his alleged casteist comments on spinner Yuzvendra Chahal.

As per sources, the complaint was filed by Dalit Rights activist and lawyer Rajat Kalsan in which he requested for legal action on Yuvraj Singh.

It is learned that during a conversation with Rohit Sharma on Instagram, Yuvraj had allegedly made a casteist remark on Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav.

The video of Yuvraj speaking about Chahal had gone viral on social media and the former has received a lot of backlash from netizens. “Yuvraj Singh Maafi Mango” was trending on twitter as well.

The police have initiated a probe against the former Indian allrounder.
