Mandya/Bengaluru: Mandya district JD(U) president BS Gowda filed a complaint before the Lok Sabha speaker against Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly KB Koliwad after he remained reluctant to take disciplinary action against cine actor and MLA Ambareesh for his irresponsible behavior as an MLA.

MLA Ambareesh who represents the Mandya constituency is reportedly skipping Assembly sessions and has failed to pay heed to issues faced in his constituency. Following this, a local JD(U) leader filed a complaint before Speaker KB Koliwad thrice, but it is said that he remained silent.

Following the Speaker’s inaction, JD(U) Mandya district president filed a complaint before the Lok Sabha speaker saying that the Assembly Speaker had exhibited partiality even though his position was not limited to a party, caste and community. The complainant has urged the Lok Sabha speaker to act on the issue immediately.
