Compol suspends Surathkal Police Inspector

Mangaluru: The city Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil has suspended Surathkal Police Inspector Radhakrishna for failing to control sale of narcotic drugs within the police station’s jurisdiction.
The inspector has been accused of failing to register a case against a cooperative society accused for cheating investors. The commissioner passed the suspension order against the inspector on Monday, pending a department inquiry.
Meanwhile, the Inspector of Economic and Narcotic Crime Police Station has been asked to hold additional charge of Surathkal Police Station.
