Compound wall of a temple collapses killing an MSc student

Byndoor: a girl died after a compound wall of a temple collapsed on her at Ulloor in Heroor gram panchayat limits here on Friday June 29th.
The deceased has been identified as Dhanya (22), daughter of Chandrashekar and Hema Shetty couple. She is survived by her two elder sisters. Her father works in Hyderabad where he runs a pan shop.
Dhanya was walking along Jattigeshwara temple in the morning, when suddenly the compound wall collapsed onto her, burying her alive under the debris. Dhanya died on the spot.
Dhanya was pursuing second-year MSc in statistics from Mangalore University. She was in her hometown on vacation for 15 days.
