Conduct proper surveys to assess losses due to flood: Basavaraj Bommai

Bengaluru: Basavaraj Bommai, Karnataka home minister instructed the officials to provide proper compensation to those who suffered damage due to floods in the state
Bommai held a video conference with the officials and said that around 68 villages across the district have been affected due to the floods and asked the officials to conduct surveys to assess crop losses
He further urged the officials to take into account dilapidated houses when conducting survey and conduct verification of the spots in detail, Also, collect information in the prescribed formats.
Speaking about the Covid-19 situation in the state, Bommai said that the infected must get the best treatment and also the officials must make sure that they do not face any kind of problems at the hospital.
He further said that the government will soon release grants to disburse pay and other allowances to the doctors and Covid-19 healthcare staff
